Bermuda Insurance Index Fund Halts Operations

Hamilton, Bermuda: April 4, 2008 – The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) has today been advised by the Directors of the Bermuda Insurance Index Fund that the Fund has redeemed all the non-voting common shares (the listed securities) as of 29 February 2008 and has temporarily ceased investment operations.

At the request of the Directors of the Bermuda Insurance Index Fund the BSX has suspended the listing of the Fund pending the sale, reorganization and re-launch of the Fund.
