Mrs. Lord has over 30 years of experience in the international reinsurance market. Mrs. Lord started her insurance career with BF&M in 1972. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Lord was a Vice President with Johnson & Higgins (Bermuda) Ltd responsible for developing Captive Reinsurance as well as managing claims. During her 20 year career with Johnson & Higgins, Mrs. Lord was involved in areas such as brokering, accounting, treaty negotiations and change management.

Mrs. Lord has held positions on a number of local Boards including Bermuda Press Holdings, the Bermuda Botanical Trust and the Immigration Board. She is currently serving on the Board of Governors of Packwood Home and L.C.C.A.
