R Blake Marshall Appointed to Bank of Bermuda Board
Born in Bermuda, Mr Marshall is currently President of Par Management and Consulting Services Ltd which provides accounting and management services to local and international companies. Educated at Warwick Academy, Mr Marshall obtained a BA in Economics and Business Administration in June 1979 from Furman University in the United States. Two years later he obtained a MSc in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.
After passing the CPA exam in 1982, Mr Marshall worked for Wall & Bray, CPAs in Florida for three years. On returning to Bermuda in 1985 he joined KPMG Peat Marwick as an Audit Senior. He remained there until September 1997, with the last six years spent as a Partner specialising in insurance and banking. He then left to establish Par Management & Consulting Services Ltd.

Mr Marshall is also a Director of BF&M Ltd, Grotto Bay Beach Hotel, SDI Inc and The Mid Ocean Club. He is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda. He is very active in the community, serving as Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Finance Committee of Warwick Academy Board of Governors and Treasurer of the Bermuda Junior Golf Association. Mr Marshall is married and has three sons.
