SWGI Growth Fund Changes Accounting Period

Hamilton, Bermuda: 29 January 2002 - SWGI Growth Fund (the "Fund") has advised the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) that the Directors of the Fund have passed a resolution to change the accounting reference date and extend the current accounting reference period.

The accounting reference period has been changed to 31 December 2001 from 31 October 2001 and the accounting reference date changed accordingly.
