Bank Of Butterfield Announces Executive Appointment

Hamilton, Bermuda: 14 February, 2002 - The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew R. Collins, FCA, to the position of Managing Director and Vice President, Butterfield Corporate Services Limited.

Butterfield Corporate Services Limited is the Bermuda arm of Butterfield Fund Services, which also provides third party fund administration services to fund managers and sponsors including a number of major hedge funds in Cayman, Guernsey and Hong Kong.

Mr. Collins remains a Director of Butterfield Fund Managers (Guernsey) Limited, the Guernsey arm of Butterfield Fund Services where he was Managing Director for over three years. Previously, he worked in a number of senior accounting and banking positions in the Cayman Islands and the United Kingdom.
