The Fund was incorporated on 21 November 2001 in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and is registered as a professional fund as defined under the Mutual Funds Act, 1996.
The Participating Shares are divided into separate Classes. Each Class is designated as a distinct Sub-Fund and has a different portfolio of investments or assets and different investment objectives.
The investment objective of the Class A Shares, designated as E3-A Sub-Fund, is to seek over the long-term capital appreciation through investments in securities of companies having the bulk of their business activities located in Eastern Europe (Albania, Baltics, Bielorussy, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldavia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine) and which are mainly active in the filed of energy production, energy distribution and energy services.
Capital G BSX Services Ltd. sponsors the listing of the Class A Non-Voting Participating Redeemable Shares of Eastern Europe Energy Fund Limited. The securities are being listed under the Listing Regulations for Collective Investment Schemes and the provisions for Restricted Marketing.
