BNTB US$ 75 Million Subordinated Notes Withdraw Listing from BSX

Hamilton, Bermuda, 9 July 2003 - The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) today announced the voluntary withdrawal from listing of the BNTB US$ 75 Million Subordinated Notes. The withdrawal from listing was made at the request of the issuer, The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited, which redeemed all of the outstanding Notes.

The withdrawal from listing on the BSX was effective as of 3 July 2003.
