Fleming Leveraged Emerging Market Portfolio Limited Issues Notice to Shareholders
The Fund distributed a circular, on 18th July 2003, to its shareholders with the intention to obtain each shareholders directions in relation to the early redemption of the Fund's investment, by way of holding a proportion of the subordinated notes, in Fleming CBO Series 1996. The Fund will vote on the optional redemption in a manner which exactly reflects the directions of shareholders (in accordance with the optional redemption procedures set out on page 13 of the Placing Memorandum dated 5th December 1996) at a meeting of the subordinated noteholders due to be held on 14th August 2003.
