Senior Appointment At The Mutual Bank Of The Caribbean Inc.

We look forward to working with Mr. Browne as he continues to build on the strengths of The Mutual Bank," commented Graham Brooks, Executive Vice President, International & Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Mutual Bank of the Caribbean Inc., who is responsible for overseas operations of Bank of Butterfield.
Clenell Goodman, the outgoing General Manager & CEO, is leaving the Bank to pursue other business interests. Mr. Brooks acknowledged his hard work and contribution to The Mutual Bank and wished him well in his future endeavours.
Mr. Browne is a well known banker who has extensive experience in senior management in financial services, both in the Caribbean and internationally. He was most recently CEO of Caribbean Commercial Bank Limited, a position he held for 12 years.
The Mutual Bank of the Caribbean Inc. was acquired by Bank of Butterfield in December, 2003. The operation will shortly be re-named to reflect Bank of Butterfield's ownership.
