Argent Classic Convertible Arbitrage (Bermuda) Fund Ltd. (the "Fund") Announces Amendment
Hamilton, Bermuda: 7th June 2004 - The Board of Directors of the Fund wishes to announce that the Fund has made an amendment to the manner in which the Fund calculates its performance fee, which is effective from 1st April 2004. Pursuant to the amended Consulting Agreement between the Fund and the Investment Consultant (Carrigaholt Holdings Ltd.), the Fund will pay to the Investment Consultant a monthly performance fee equal to 20% of the monthly Profits (now calculated without subtracting that months management fee). If the Fund were to experience a loss the Investment Consultant would not be entitled to receive the performance fee until the Fund had recouped the loss in full.
This announcement was not released earlier to the Bermuda Stock Exchange due to an administrative oversight.
