PartnerRe Declares Preferred Share Dividend

PEMBROKE, Bermuda: August 12, 2004 - PartnerRe Ltd. (NYSE: PRE) announced that its Board of Directors has declared a dividend for the period June 1 - August 31, 2004 of $0.421875 per share on the Company's 6.75% Series C Cumulative Preferred Shares.The dividend will be payable on September 1,2004, to shareholders of record on August 20, 2004.
