Hamilton, Bermuda: 30 August 2004 - The Group President of Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd, (BAS.BH) Mr. Gene Bean, has informed the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) of the following:

"Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Derek Theisen to the post of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective August 1, 2004.

Mr. Thiesen is a Graduate of Mount Allison university where he received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting.

He received his CPA in 1993 whilst an auditor with Deloitte and Touche in Bermuda, He obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2003. Mr. Theisen previously held the post of Financial Controller with Atlantic Philanthropies before joining BAS."
