BSX Approves Listing of up to 5,000,000 Class A Common Shares of Firebird Global Fund Ltd.

Hamilton, Bermuda, 12 January 2005 - The Listing Committee of the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) today announced the approval of the listing of 5,000,000 Class A Common Shares of Firebird Global Fund, Ltd (the "Fund").

The Fund was incorporated under the laws of the Cayman Islands on 8 April 2003 as an open-ended investment company.     

The investment objective of the Firebird Global Fund, Ltd. is maximum risk-adjusted capital gains that the Manager attempts to achieve by investing in public equity securities that reflect the contrarian investment themes of the Manager. The Fund may also make private equity or pre-IPO investments, although these will not be a focus of the Fund.

Harbour Financial Services Limited sponsored the listing of the Class A Common Shares of Firebird Global Fund, Ltd. The securities are being listed under the Listing Regulations for Collective Investment Schemes and the provisions for Restricted Marketing.
