Hamilton, Bermuda: 1st February 2005 - The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) has today been advised by the Bank of Butterfield that in January 2005 the Bank or its subsidiaries did not acquire and cancel any of its own shares, under the share repurchase programme announced January 5, 2000.
