Hamilton, Bermuda: 1st September 2005 - Further to the announcement of 26th August 2005 the Directors of Novy Neft Limited (the "Company"), wish to advise that the price at which the 1,979,999 Shares were repurchased and cancelled on 24 August 2005 was US$24.10, representing a 1% discount to the Company's Net Asset Value. Subject to completion, Shareholders will receive repurchase proceeds on or around 16 September 2005
