Hamilton, Bermuda: 1st September 2005 - Further to the announcement of 26 August 2005 the Directors of Novy Neft II Limited (the "Company"), wish to advise that the price at which the 699,811 Shares were repurchased and cancelled on 24th August 2005 was US$17.18, representing a 1% discount to the Company's Net Asset Value. Subject to completion, Shareholders will receive repurchase proceeds on or around 16 September 2005.
