Hamilton, Bermuda, January 16, 2006 - With immediate effect, trading in the shares of S.A.L. Limited have been suspended on the BSX pending an inquiry in connection with the Company's announcement of today that 95.9% of shares issued and outstanding have been sold to Phillips Holdings Limited.
