BAS Rights To Commence Trading

Hamilton, Bermuda: 15th February 2006 - The BAS Rights (BASR.BH), which were listed on the BSX on 9th February 2006 will commence trading on the BSX tomorrow, Thursday 16th February. The Rights will be available for trading on the BSX for a period of six days and will cease trading at the close of the market on Thursday, 23rd February.

Rights holders who hold their Rights outside of the Bermuda Securities Depository (BSD) and who wish to sell their Rights on the Exchange are advised to make arrangements to have their Rights deposited into the BSD immediately.

Rights holders who wish to purchase additional Rights should contact their local broker directly.

Settlement for Rights purchased or sold on the Exchange throughout the period the Rights will be available for trading will occur in the normal manner on the third business day following the trade date.

However, notice is given by the BSD that persons will hold their Rights in the BSD or acquire Rights held in the BSD, and who wish to exercise such Rights, will be required by the BSD to make payment in full to the BSD for the Rights to be exercised by close of business on Friday, 24th February. The same will apply to persons wishing to subscribe for additional unexercised Rights through the facilities of the BSD.
