Bermuda Container Line Ltd. Reports 2006 First Quarter Earnings
Hamilton, Bermuda: June 28, 2006 - The Bermuda Stock Exchange has been informed by the Board of Directors of Bermuda Container Line Ltd. that net earnings for the first quarter of 2006, the quarter ending 31 March, were $787,000 compared to net earnings of $288,000 for the first quarter of 2005. Improved earnings were driven by a growth in cargo volume and freight revenues.
The Directors further declared a dividend of 13 cents per share for the third quarter of 2006.
