Butterfield Bank Advises Of Stock Option Trust
Hamilton, Bermuda: July 3, 2006 - The BSX has been advised by Butterfield Bank ("the Bank") that in June 2006 the Bank's Stock Option Trust did not purchase any shares intended to be used to satisfy the Bank's obligations in respect of the Officers' and Employees Stock Option Plans. Furthermore, there were no shares bought back and cancelled during June.
