Hamilton, Bermuda, August 2, 2006 -- The BSX will be closed on August 3^rd - 4^th 2006, for the Somers Day/Cup Match public holiday in Bermuda. The Exchange will reopen on Monday, August 7^th 2006.

This holiday celebrates the discovery of Bermuda by Sir George Somers in 1609, and in more modern times, the local cricket championship.
