Highlights

Good contributions from Dairy Farm, Hongkong Land and Jardine Matheson.
Astra affected by weak Indonesian motor markets.
Renovation of Hong Kong hotel reduces Mandarin Oriental's result.
Hongkong Land property portfolio increases 10%.
Net asset value per share up 6% to US$16.44

"Most of the Group's businesses are expected to contribute to perform well in the remainder of the year. The recent easing of interest rates in Indonesia should provide some stimulus to consumer markets, but it is still too early to predict the extent of an improvement in Astra's motor and related finance operations."
