Jardine Cycle & Carriage Announces Appointment of New
Ben Keswick is currently the chief executive officer of Jardine Pacific, which represents a number of the Jardine Matheson group's non-listed interests in Asia encompassing a range of industry sectors that include air cargo handling, aviation services, building and construction, engineering, restaurants, and IT products and services. He joined the Jardine Matheson group in 1998, working first for its retail arm, Dairy Farm, before completing an MBA at INSEAD in Singapore. He moved to Jardine Pacific as finance director in 2003 and became chief executive officer in 2005.
In addition to his role as Group Managing Director of the Company based in Singapore, Ben Keswick will have broader Jardine Matheson group responsibilities in Southeast Asia and will remain a director of Jardine Matheson Limited.
Chairman of Jardine Cycle & Carriage, Anthony Nightingale, said, "During Adam's tenure, first as Group Strategy Director and then as Group Managing Director, he has been instrumental in refocusing the Group's operations on our core motor activities in Southeast Asia and building our relationship with Astra International. I would like to thank him for his significant contribution to the Group as he returns to Hong Kong to become chief executive of Jardine Motors Group and Jardine Pacific.
