IPC Holdings, Ltd. Reports Third Quarter 2006 Results
PEMBROKE, BERMUDA: October 24, 2006. IPC Holdings, Ltd. (NASDAQ: IPCR) today reported net income for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 of $115.0 million, or $1.60 per common share, compared to a net loss of $(656.6) million, or $(13.57) per common share, for the third quarter of 2005. For the nine
months ended September 30, 2006, IPC reported net income of $286.4 million, or $3.99 per common share, compared to a net loss of $(548.6) million, or $(11.34) per common share, for the corresponding period of 2005.
