Bermuda Commercial Bank Announce Addition Of Three Members To Its Board Of Directors

Hamilton, Bermuda: December 8, 2006 - Bermuda Commercial Bank is pleased to announce to shareholders and the public the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors, effective Wednesday November 29, 2006: Ms. Dominique Smith, Mr. Greg Reid and Mr. Paul Kneen.  These appointments are as a result of the vacancies within the Board following the resignations of Mr. John Deuss, Mr. Timothy Ulrich and Ms. Tineke Deuss in October 2006, and were made on the basis of the experience and in-depth knowledge of the Bank that Ms. Smith, Mr. Reid and Mr. Kneen each have. They will hold office until the Bank's forthcoming Annual General Meeting, at which time they will stand for re-election with the rest of the Board.

Ms. Smith (Bermudian) currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and brings over 20 years' experience within the financial services sector, 12 of them at the Bank. Mr. Reid currently serves as General Manager of Accounting and Administration, having over 12 years' experience within the financial services sector, with 3 years at the Bank. Mr. Kneen currently serves as General Manager, Banking and Custodial Service, bringing 19 years' experience within the financial services sector, 6 of them at the Bank.
