Moneda Chile Fund Limited Determination Of The Fair Price To Pay Redemption Requests
WHEREAS it was stated in the Directors Recommendation Letter sent to Shareholders in advance to the Fund's Annual General Meeting, shareholders willing to redeem all or part of their shares were enabled to do so on terms that would be at least as favourable as the liquidation of MCF, being Redemption price be at a Fair Value considering, for calculation purposes, the Net Asset Value as of May 30th.
WHEREAS the Directors of MCF determined that the Fair Value of the Shares to be the equivalent to Net Asset Value per Share as of May 30th, minus 5.20% on account of applicable taxes, transaction costs and brokerage fees, other legal and administrative expenses and foreign exchange costs.
WHEREAS the Net Asset Value per Share as of May 30th, was calculated and validated by the Fund's Auditors (KMPG Auditores Consultores Ltda.) to be US$ 45.6452.-
WHEREAS the Board of Directors of the Fund decided to postpone the payment of redemption requests to be effective within the following 30 business days starting from 13th June, 2007.
THE COMPANY WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THAT:
- the Fair Value per Share to pay redemptions requests has been determined to be US$ 43.2716.
- the Company will make the payment on, or prior to July 25th, which is the final deadline to pay redemption requests.
