Aspen Re Named Best Global Reinsurance Company for Specialty Lines
Hamilton, Bermuda: September 4, 2007 €” Aspen Insurance UK Limited ("Aspen Re"") a subsidiary of Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited (NYSE:AHL), announced that it has been named "Best Global Reinsurance Company for Specialty Lines" by Reactions magazine.
The Reactions magazine Awards are designed to recognise and reward corporate and individual achievers in the insurance and reinsurance markets. Each year the readership of Reactions magazine is polled to assess which firms, deals and initiatives, as well as industry figures have outperformed.
Aspen was presented with the award for Best Global Reinsurance Company for Specialty Lines, based on criteria including the overall client relationship, service, responsiveness and innovation, as voted for by the readers of Reactions magazine. Other nominees in the category were AXIS, Hannover Re, Lloyd's of London and Swiss Re. The award was received at the Reactions magazine Global Awards reception in New York by Lee Tookey, Senior Underwriter and Tom Meyer, Underwriter in Aspen's Specialty Reinsurance team.
