PartnerRe Ltd. to Open Representative Office in Beijing

Pembroke, Bermuda: September 7, 2007 - PartnerRe Ltd. today announced it is establishing a representative office in Beijing, China, having received approval from the China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC).

The Beijing office of PartnerRe Ltd. will serve as a liaison point for the Chinese market and is permitted to conduct non-income generating activities.

Andrew Mak, who has served the Asian and Chinese market for PartnerRe during the past nine years, has been appointed Chief Representative for the Beijing office.
