CLSA Financial Products, Ltd. Advises BSX of Bonus Certificate Distribution.
Hamilton, Bermuda: 2 October, 2007 - The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) has been advised by CLSA Financial Products, Ltd. of a Bonus Certificate Distribution in respect of one of the Certificates issued under its US$7.5 billion Asian Securities Programme.
A distribution free of payment of one (1) Bonus Certificate for each one (1) Certificate held in respect of shares in the Indian listed company Unitech Ltd. due 8 July 2010 will become effective on 8 October 2007 to holders of both the 144A and RegS Certificates. The record date for this distribution was 31 August 2007.
This Bonus Certificate Distribution has caused the number of Certificates to be increased by the further issuance of 1,700,000 RegS Certificates and 450,000 144A Certificates. As at 8 October 2007 the new total size of the RegS Portion of these Certificates will stand at 3,400,000 Certificates and the new total size of the 144A Portion of these Certificates will stand at 900,000 Certificates.
