BAS Advises BSX Of Sale Of Crow Lane Bakery Ltd.
Hamilton, Bermuda; October 5, 2007 - In an announcement made to the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. (BAS.BH) has advised the Exchange that an unsolicited bid was received by the Board of Directors of the company for the purchase of Crow Lane Bakery Ltd. After due consideration and subsequent negotiations an offer was accepted for the company with the sale being completed on October 5, 2007.
The Purchaser was CMR Ltd., led by Mr. Raymond Packwood. Mr. Packwood was the previous Chief Financial Officer of Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. who has left the company to now run Crow Lane Bakery Ltd.
