Hamilton, Bermuda: 5 February 2008 -- Lancashire Holdings Limited ("Lancashire") has been advised that Steadfast Financial LLC ("Steadfast") has increased its notifiable ownership interest in aggregate from 6,056,035 of Lancashire's common shares of US$0.50 par value each to 8,564,154 common shares. Consequently, as of 4 February 2008, Steadfast's shareholding in Lancashire represents approximately 4.70% of the total current issued share capital of Lancashire.
