Hamilton, Bermuda - 01 October, 2008 - The Board of Directors (the "Directors") of Argent Classic Convertible Arbitrage Fund Ltd. (Ticker: ARGCC<all classes>.BH) have informed the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) that, following an emergency board meeting, the Directors have resolved to suspend the NAV of the Fund with immediate effect until further notice.
