Russia Infrastructure Equities Limited - Suspension Of NAV
Hamilton, Bermuda, October 15, 2008 - Russia Infrastructure Equities (RUSINFE VI) announced to the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) a temporary suspension of Net Asset Valuation (NAV) calculations.
Trading on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange ("MICEX") and the Russian Trading System ("RTS"), being exchanges upon which assets of the Fund are traded has been suspended as of 10 October 2008 by consequence of an order of the Federal Financial Markets Service.
More than 50% of the Fund's assets are listed on the MICEX or the RTS which in the Directors' opinion constitutes a material part of the Company's investments.
As a result, the Directors of Russia Infrastructure Equities Limited, in accordance with Regulation 7.1 of the Company Articles, wish to advise of a resolution to suspend the determination of the net asset value of the fund for the day of 10 October 2008.
