Hamilton, Bermuda - 16 December, 2008 - Utilico Emerging Markets Limited (the "Company") [Ticker: UTILEMU.BH] has today published its interim report for the period ended 30 September 2008 along with (i) two Circulars which notify holders of warrants and S shares respectively of their entitlement to exercise the conversion rights attaching to such warrants and S shares on 2 February 2009 and (ii) a notice convening a Special General Meeting on Monday 5 January 2009 to reduce the share premium account of the Company.
