TYCO TO HOST 2009 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS
PEMBROKE, Bermuda - 4 March, 2009 - Tyco International Ltd. (NYSE: TYC; BSX: TYC) will host its 2009 Annual General Meeting and a Special General Meeting of shareholders on 12 March, 2009 at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel in Pembroke, Bermuda. The Annual General Meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. Atlantic Time and will be followed by the Special General Meeting at 9:30 a.m. Atlantic Time. During the meetings, shareholders will vote on proposals listed in separate proxy statements filed by the company on 16 January, 2009.
