White Mountains Reports Flat Adjusted Book Value Per Share of $352
HAMILTON, Bermuda - 01 May, 2009 - White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. (NYSE: WTM) reported an adjusted book value per share of $352 at March 31, 2009, which was essentially flat for the quarter, including dividends. Adjusted comprehensive net loss in the first quarter of 2009 was $9 million, compared to break-even in the first quarter of last year, while net income was $30 million, compared to net loss of $57 million in the first quarter of 2008.
