Hamilton, Bermuda - 24 August, 2009 - In an announcement made to the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) the Directors of Renaissance Russia Distressed Assets Limited (the "Company") (Ticker: RENDISA VI) advised that they have approved a distribution in cash of US$6.286571 per share, which reflects a total distribution of US$1.3 million, net of expenses. The distribution was to be paid on or around 17 August 2009.
