Lancashire Holdings Ltd - NOTICE OF INVESTOR DAY

Hamilton, Bermuda - 08 December, 2009 - Lancashire Holdings Limited ("Lancashire" or "the Company") (Ticker: LHL.BH) will be hosting an Investor Day for analysts and investors on Wednesday, 16 December 2009 at Bank of America Merrill Lynch's offices in London.

At the Investor Day, Lancashire's senior management team will provide a strategic and operational overview of the Lancashire Group, including its unique business strategy, areas of focus, risk management and future plans.

Richard Brindle (Group CEO), Simon Burton (Group Deputy CEO), Neil McConachie (President and Group CFO), Alex Maloney (Group Chief Underwriting Officer ), Charles Mathias (Group Underwriting Operations Director) and other members of the senior management team will present at the Investor Day. The presentation will start at 12:00.

No new trading or price sensitive information will be disclosed during the Investor Day.
