ASIA PACIFIC BASKET LIMITED - Results Of The AGM

Hamilton, Bermuda - 13 January, 2010 – In a filing to the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX), ASIA PACIFIC BASKET LIMITED (the “Company”; Ticker: ASIPACB.GU) announced the results of the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

As per the Notice dated 20 October 2009, a copy of which was posted to all Shareholders of the Company, the Company confirms that it held its first AGM on 16 November 2009.

At this meeting, all resolutions proposed were duly approved by the Shareholders including the adjournment of the meeting.  Whilst it was regrettable that the Company had to hold its first AGM in advance of the audited Financial Statements being available, it was unavoidable.

The Directors have proposed to issue a further Notice to all Shareholders detailing the date of the adjourned meeting (which shall be held not later than 30 March 2010) and a copy of the Financial Statements for the period ended 30 September 2009 will be published and circulated. The audited Financial Statements will include the Directors’ Report and the Company’s audited Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet, as required by the Law and the Company’s Articles of Association. After Shareholders have had the opportunity to review these documents, the adjourned Annual General Meeting can be held and resolutions will be proposed to re-appoint the Directors and auditor and to approve the Financial Statements.
