ALEC TONG APPOINTED GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR OF DAIRY FARM

Hamilton, Bermuda – 24 June, 2010 – In a filing to the Bermuda Stock Exchange, Dairy Farm International Holdings Limited (Ticker: DFIBD.BH) announced the appointment of Alec Tong as Group Finance Director with effect from 1st September, 2010, upon the retirement of Howard Mowlem from the position.

Mr Tong is currently the Treasurer of the Jardine Matheson Group. He has been with Jardine Matheson for 17 years where he has held a number of senior finance positions, including Finance Director of Jardine Motors and Jardine Pacific.

“Howard has played a significant role in restructuring and refocusing Dairy Farm during his ten years with the Group, enabling us to become a leading food retailer in Asia. Mr Tong is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and he obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Manchester University and a Master of Science from Leeds University in the United Kingdom.
