BCB Launches BCB Asset Management Limited

Hamilton, Bermuda – 01 May, 2012 – Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited (“BCB” or “the Bank”) today announced the official launch of BCB Asset Management Limited, a company focused on delivering cost effective discretionary asset management services and tailored investment solutions to both private and institutional clients.

BCB Asset Management Limited was granted its Investment Business License on April 20th, 2012 by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (“BMA”). Bermuda Commercial Bank, which is focused solely on commercial, corporate and high net worth individuals, is delighted to add this division to its already comprehensive suite of services. BCB Asset Management Limited is dedicated to providing clients with the knowledge to fully understand the uncertainties of Global Markets, to help build investment solutions for their particular needs, and to assist them in feeling more comfortable with their investment decisions. This is of vital importance in an age where investment options are becoming increasingly complicated.

The division will be headed-up by Lola Myshketa, BCB’s Senior Wealth Advisor. Lola brings 15 years of outstanding performance in Investment & Private Wealth Management in both Europe and North America. She holds an MBA (Major in Banking and Finance) from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy where she was valedictorian and earned her FMA designation from the Canadian Securities Institute. Ms. Myshketa commented, “During my professional career I have been fortunate to work for some fine companies, but I have never been part of an institution that is so focused on building a business model driven by the needs of its clients. BCB Asset Management truly works for its clients and seeks to establish long term relationships based on quality service, integrity, continuity, transparency and most importantly, prudent investment products. Capital preservation and risk management are at the heart of the investment solutions offered by the BCB Asset Management Team. Unlike many of our peers in the industry, BCB Asset Management Limited is not tied to a specific investment product or investment manager. We are establishing Sub-Advisory relationships with highly regarded Global Investment Managers in order to bring to Bermuda bespoke investment opportunities that have solid, excellent and proven track records. I am looking forward to working with our clients in helping them realize their investment objectives”.

Horst Finkbeiner, Director and COO of BCB, stated “Lola’s strong investment background and experience in asset management, her dedication to clients, and her ability to diversify and build solutions on a client by client basis are what will set her and the Bank apart in the industry. We are very pleased that this new division is now up and running and bringing BCB’s tradition of service excellence and client focus to the asset management market”.

BCB Asset Management Limited is now the Bank's trading member and Listing Sponsor on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”).
