BH Global Ltd - New Chairman Appointment

Hamilton, Bermuda – 20 December, 2012 – In a filing to the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX), BH Global Limited (the "Company") announces that with effect from 1 January 2013, Lord Turnbull will resign as a non-executive director and Independent Chairman of the Company to pursue other commitments. The Board has resolved to appoint Sir Michael Bunbury as non-executive director and Independent Chairman with effect the same date.

Lord Turnbull commented: “I am now standing down after five years planning, launching and chairing BH Global Limited.  Since its launch in June 2008 its Net Asset Value has grown by over 28 percent and the Company has shown great resilience through some very turbulent times.  As a multi-strategy listed investment company, BH Global Limited provides an innovative alternative to other listed vehicles.

I am very grateful for the support I have received from my fellow directors; from the Manager, Brevan Howard; and from Northern Trust, the administrator.  I wish the company every success under the chairmanship of Sir Michael Bunbury.”

Sir Michael Bunbury’s biography is below:

Sir Michael Bunbury (age 65) is an experienced director of listed and private investment, property and financial services companies and trustee for high net worth families. He is currently the Chairman of HarbourVest Global Private Equity Limited, JP Morgan Claverhouse Investment Trust plc, a Director of Invesco Perpetual Select Trust plc, a consultant to Smith & Williamson and a former Director of Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust plc. Sir Michael began his career in 1968 at Buckmaster & Moore, before joining Smith & Williamson, Investment Managers and Chartered Accountants, in 1974 as a Partner. He later served as Director and Chairman and remains a consultant to the firm.
