Hamilton, Bermuda – 24 September, 2013 — In a filing, this date, with the Bermuda Stock Exchange, Firebird Global Fund Ltd., announced the suspension of all redemptions until further notice. The filing reads:
“New York, New York, September 19, 2013 - The Board of Directors of Firebird Global Fund, Ltd. (the “Fund”) suspended redemptions on the continuing classes as of August 30, 2013 in order to protect the long-term value of the Fund for all investors. During the period of suspension, the management fee on the continuing classes will be reduced to 1%.”
