Biomax Rubber Industries Ltd. Comments On Change in Listing Status
Hamilton, Bermuda: 8 October 2013 - Biomax Rubber Industries Ltd (“Biomax” or the “Company”), manufacturer of medical/examination gloves in Malaysia, is pleased to announce that it has been granted a waiver from marketing restrictions pursuant to Regulation 4.10 as set out in Chapter 4 of IIIA of the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”) Listing Regulations with effect from 8 October 2013. Consequently, the Company’s listed securities may be held by the general public and can be freely traded by the general public on the on the BSX. The Company’s ordinary shares were originally listed on the BSX on 21 June 2013 under the Exchange’s restricted marketing provisions for Qualified Investors.
The Company manufactures and trades premium non-sterile latex medical/examination gloves and trades chlorinated powder free gloves for the healthcare industry. Its products are exported to more than 20 countries worldwide and the company prides itself on a strong reputation of quality products, timely delivery and excellent customer service.
Chairman Chong Wee Chong commented: “The demand for latex products, especially gloves is growing dramatically due to increased awareness of hygiene and industrial usages.
For its upcoming phase of growth, Biomax has planned to further expand its production capacity with advanced and high technology production facilities as well as an R&D center. The Company is also focused on achieving a more balanced product mix by exploring the production of nitrile gloves.
