Hamilton, Bermuda – 17 January, 2014 – In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”), Southern View Finance Ltd. (the “Company” or “SVF”; Ticker: SVF.BH) filed a notice regarding the recent subsequent issue of shares and appointment of Directors. The filing stated:
“"ANNOUNCEMENT – LISTING OF ADDITIONAL CLASS B SHARES ON THE BERMUDA STOCK EXCHANGE (“BSX”) AND APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS TO THE BOARD OF SOUTHERN VIEW FINANCE LTD
Shareholders are advised that the BSX has granted approval for a listing of 14,000,000 common Class B shares with a par value of US$0.0001 each on the BSX with effect from Wednesday, 22 January 2014. In accordance with the requirements of the BSX, notice is hereby given that the Class B Shares may be held by the public and will be freely tradable on the BSX from 22 January 2014.
Shareholders are further advised that, at the meeting of directors held on 16 January 2014, Mr. Hendrik van der Merwe Scholtz was appointed as a director and chairman of the Company and Mr. Samuel Sithole was appointed as a director of the Company. The appointments are effective from 16 January 2014."
