Ascendant Group Limited – Dividend Announcement
Hamilton, Bermuda – 19 March, 2014 – In an 18 March, 2014, filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”), Ascendant Group Limited (the “Company”; Ticker: AGL.BH) announced a dividend declaration and review of the Company’s future dividend policy. The announcement read:
“Ascendant Group Limited (“Ascendant Group” or the “Company”) announced today that the Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”) declared a dividend on 17 March, 2014 of 21.25¢ per share payable on 7 April, 2014 to shareholders of record as of 24 March, 2014. In making the announcement, the Board stated that a full review of Ascendant Group’s dividend policy is underway as the Company seeks to balance the deployment of its capital to support significant re-investment in the next generation of electricity infrastructure. The review is taking place in consideration of the difficult economic conditions in Bermuda and the associated challenges.”
