iO Adria Limited – Results of AGM and Directorate Change
Hamilton, Bermuda – 04 April, 2014 – In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”), iO Adria Limited (the "Company"; Ticker: IAL.BH) has released the results of the Annual General Meeting held on 28 March, 2014. The filing reads:
“The Company is pleased to announce that shareholders have approved all resolutions presented at its Annual General Meeting held on 28March 2014, including the election of the individuals proposed to the Board of Directors of the Company. At the meeting, 84,790,435 shares representing 46.23% of the total number of shares issued, were voted in favor of all resolutions proposed, including the election of the proposed Board members.
The returning board members re-elected are James Andrew Smith, Bernard Lambert, Goranko Fizulic, Garth Lorimer Turner, William Crewdson and Alex Penkul.
The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment, with effect from 3rd April, 2014, of Mr. Emmanuel Blouin as a Director and Chairman of the Company.
Emmanuel Blouin set up Esterel Capital in 2008, a family-owned investment boutique actively involved in several special situations transactions across Europe in the property and hospitality, retail, e-commerce, alternative energy and education sectors. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of LSE AIM-listed RGI International and an Independent Non-Executive Director of XXI Century Investments Ltd. He was formerly Executive Director at Morgan Stanley both on real estate and hospitality investing and banking situations. Emmanuel has 20 years of experience with Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan and Paribas in London, Paris, Prague and Moscow during which he has been involved in over €50 billion of transactions across Europe, with a focus on Emerging Europe. He is a regular speaker at investors’ conferences and recognised member of the European property investment industry. Emmanuel graduated from HEC Paris with a Major in Finance in 1995.”
