Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. Suspends Quarterly Dividend Payment
Hamilton, Bermuda – 30 September, 2014 – In a 30 June, 2014, filing, Bermuda Press (Holdings) Limited (“BPHL”; Ticker: BPH.BH) announced it will suspend dividend payments for the quarter ended 30 September, 2014. The filing reads:
“Dear Shareholder,
The Bermuda Press (Holdings) Limited (the Company) has suspended the dividend on its common shares for the quarter ended September 30th, 2014. The Board of Directors regularly reviews the Company’s capital allocations, and based on the capital required to complete the recent acquisitions of Island Press Limited, Bermuda.com Limited, and Bermuda.com Guide Limited on August 4th, 2014, the Board determined that suspending the dividend and preserving operating capital was prudent.
The Company's Board of Directors will continue to review the Company's capital allocations and anticipates that it will reinstate the payment of a dividend on common shares in future periods.
