Polaris Announces appointment to the Board of Directors
Hamilton, Bermuda – 14 April, 2015 – In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”), Polaris Holding Company Limited (the “Company”; Ticker: POLAR.BH) announced that Mr. Paul B. Hubbard, CA, FCCA, TEP has been appointed as its newest director following the resignations of long-serving directors Mr. Patrick Morin and Mr. C. F. Alex Cooper in November.
Chairman of the Board, Mrs. Cheryl Hayward-Chew noted that “Polaris Holding Company Ltd. is thankful to Mr. Morin and Mr. Cooper for their many years of service to Stevedoring Services Limited initially and in more recent years to Polaris Holding Company Ltd.
We are excited to welcome Mr. Hubbard as the newest director on our Board. He brings a wealth of experience having retired in 2009 after 36 years as a senior partner with Deloitte & Touche, Bermuda. He has also served in a variety of senior roles in the intervening years leading to the present.”
Mrs. Hayward-Chew noted that Mr. Hubbard will join present Directors Mr. Wayne Caines -Deputy-Chair, Mr. Jeffrey Conyers, Mr. L. Eugene Saunders and Mrs. Siobhan Lohan Rose and Mr. Howard Pitcher, both of whom were appointed as Directors in 2014.
