Hamilton, Bermuda – 20 March, 2014 –Bermuda Press (Holdings) Limited (“BPHL”; Ticker: BPH.BH) announced changes to their Board of Directors. The filing reads:
The Board of Directors of the Bermuda Press (Holdings) Limited (“BPHL”) is pleased to announce that Stephen W. Thomson has been elected Chairman and that Chiara T. Nannini was elected to the Board of Directors at our Annual General Meeting.
Stephen W. Thomson is the President of Mailboxes Unlimited Ltd. and of Just Shirts Group of Dry Cleaners. He was elected to the Board of Directors of The Bermuda Press (Holdings) Limited in 1997 and had served as the Deputy Chairman since 2013. Mr. Thomson has been working closely with management for the past several years as the company restructured operations. Stephen’s entrepreneurial talents and his involvement in the community are an asset to the Company.
Chiara T. Nannini, a native of Bermuda, is an associate in the corporate department of Conyers Dill & Pearman. Chiara joined Conyers Dill & Pearman in 2007. Chiara returned to Bermuda in 2013 after an overseas secondment in Brazil. Her area of practice includes all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including capital markets, insurance, corporate reorganisations, exempted companies and other investment vehicles.
“Chiara is highly educated, and her legal experience is a great addition to the Board. I look forward to her fresh perspective and contributions to the Board as we continue to redefine the future of the Company” said Chairman Thomson.
